Roberto Pereyra, Watford

Salary: $9,000

In a week that does not feature many of the top midfielders, Pereyra comes in tied as the second-highest priced midfielder on the slate, and he has averaged 15.16 FanDuel points this season. Pereyra has scored in two of his last three matches -- totaling three shots on target -- while averaging 19.16 FanDuel points over that span.

Pereyra has a 24.4% chance of finding the back of the net, according to FanDuel, and has scored five goals this season, including four at Vicarage Road. Pereyra’s FanDuel production is directly tied to his ability to score a goal as he has not scored over 12 FanDuel points in a match without scoring a goal, and has only reached the 10-point mark once in those seven matches.

The Saints are a good matchup for opposing attacks as they have allowed the seventh-most shots (149) and eighth-most shots on target (54) this season, and have conceded two or more goals in three of their five matches at St. Mary’s stadium this season, while keeping a clean sheet in their other two home matches. DFS players should be able to find midfielders that offer more peripherals than Pereyra -- which allows those midfielders to offer a safer floor -- as Pereyra will likely have to score a goal in order to reach value.
