Trade to weaken opponent?

Someone in my league asked about trading for Jeremy Hill and Jordan Matthews, and said that Shady or Alfred Morris were on the table. I don't need any of these players, but this is a guy whose team is quite strong so it might be worth trading to weaken his team.

My RBs: Forte, LeVeon, Murray, Hill
My WRs: Marshall, Cobb, Green, Matthews

His RBs: Shady, Morris, Gio, Blue, Knile
His WRs: Nelson, Evans, OBJ, Floyd, Torrey, Wayne

Should I make a trade? i haven't seen much of Shady or Morris this year so don't know who I should want.

Well you are right about not using them. That being said, if you are looking to hurt him for the playoffs, taking Morris is what you would want to do. Hill will probably split carries with Bernard now and Matthews has a lot of hype right now, but probably won't perform as a top 20 WR.

Morris over Shady has to do with matchups mostly. I just can't trust Shady. He hasn't scored touchdowns, and the eagles show a clear desire to get Sproles involved. It is close. Taking either hurts his team.
