1 PPR, 12 Team...Rate This Draft

I had pick 12 (ugh)....I am personally none too thrilled about this draft, but the rules kind of benefit the fact that I really screwed the pooch on WR...basically, there is no Flex position. You can start 1, 2, or 3 RBs, and 1, 2, or 3 WRs, so long as the total number of players started at those two positions comes out to 4. So it can be: 1 RB and 3 WR, or 2 RB and 2 WR, or 3 RB and 1 WR. But it just seemed like every time I was up to bat, it was RBs, RBs, and more RBs available, it got to the point where I just had to bite the bullet and reach on some WRs.

I thought about picking up a backup QB, but there were still a lot of guys available when most teams needed to start grabbing kickers and defenses...so I figured I'd take a flier on Josh Gordon. Even 8 games of him is worth a 14th round pick, I figure.

Getting Jimmy Graham at 12 in a PPR is amazing value. Your WR core isnt great, but you have to think of Jimmy as a top 3 WR. The biggest mistake IMO was reaching for Foles in the 5th, that's wayyyyy too early in any draft, not to mention PPR. I'd give your draft a B-

Damn Foles...I didn't even want him, either, I had it all lined up to pick Michael Floyd and the damned website timed out on me. It's funny, too, on Master's Fantasy Leagues (where this league was hosted), the commissioner will stay with the league through the first couple rounds of the draft, just in case anything happens. Then he leaves, and its anything goes. And what would happen to me of course? The website times out and autodrafts me Nick Foles. The most concerning part of it is, the autodraft is selected by the sites ADP figures...Nick Foles is like a consensus 5th round pick to these folks?!

That sucks. I've done a few of those $10 MFL's draft only things - that site has a terrible interface. You should note that stuff about being auto-drafted players though if you want a fair grade on the draft. Just saying :)
