Questions
Which team this season will be the Buffalo Bills of 2011?
ie, start off the season with a couple surprisingly big wins, get everyone talking, and then streak the L column like it's going out of style ..

I think the most likely team to be this year's equivalent to last year's Buffalo Bills are this year's Buffalo Bills. They'll probably have a decent start thanks to their upgraded D and forgiving schedule but once the tape is out on their limited offense and the QB play becomes inconsistent they'll taper off.

I have to agree. The Bills have all very winnable games the first the weeks of the regular season, especially considering the current state of the Jets QB situation. If they're able to beat the Patriots in week 4 they'll certainly be hyped as the resurgent Bills, however I just don't see them being able to stay a step ahead of the league throughout the season. The mediocre coaching staff will get figured out and I just don't see them doing any better than backing into a wildcard spot.

I say Houston Texans. I think last season was a fluke. Andre Johnson had loads of injuries last season and the defense lost significant amounts of talent. I could be wrong, but I think this will hold up at season's end.

I'm worried for the Bengals. Weeks 2-6 look great with the toughest matchup probably at Skins. Then Week 7 on is killer: 2xPIT, BAL, NFC East minus Wash, as well as trips to SD and Arrowhead.

I'm going to with the Redskins, or possibly the Panthers. Just don't see either team being able to hold up.

Scam and the Panthers for sure... Coming from a Falcons fan I'm not looking forward to playing them but I don't see them making the playoffs just yet.

The problem is that based on schedule I don't see those teams coming strong out of the gate. They're definitely over-hyped but probably unlikely to replicate the Bills fluky start from last year.
