D.J. Chark has been 'most impressive' Jaguars' wideout
Jacksonville Jaguars second-round rookie D.J. Chark has been the "most impressive receiver" at training camp, reports ESPN Jaguars reporter Michael DiRocco.
Chark has been consistently making plays over defenders, including Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye, according to DiRocco. Second-year wideout Dede Westbrook has also received praise this week, and without a clear number-one emerging, the Jaguars may open the season with more of a committee approach at wideout.
numberFire's currently models project Chark for a modest 19.3 targets, 11.3 catches, 139.7 yards, and 1.12 touchdowns as a rookie, placing him well outside the top-100 receivers in our preseason rankings, as well as behind Marquise Lee (WR42), Westbrook (WR61), Donte Moncrief (WR64), and Keelan Cole (WR81).
