Bills place Jordan Matthews (knee) on IR
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Jordan Matthews has been placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Despite the injury, Matthews was active for the team's Week 13 matchup and produced 14 yards on one catch and three targets. Apparently, he wasn't at full health and will now be shut down for the rest of the season. That should mean more of Zay Jones and Kelvin Benjamin in Buffalo.
In 10 games and 7 starts, Matthews turned 36 targets into 25 catches, 282 yards and 1 touchdown. He will have missed 8 games in 2 years at the conclusion of the 2017 season.
