Cowboys planning on Week 8 return for Dez Bryant (knee)
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (knee) is expected back for Week 8, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
The expectation has been for a while now that Bryant would return after the Cowboys' bye week following a three-game absence. He's appeared in just 12-of-22 contests since the start of last season, but always brings WR1 upside. It'll be interesting to see how big of a role Bryant has in a 5-1 Dallas offense that has relied heavily on its running game while rookie Dak Prescott has refrained from stretching the field.
Our models project Bryant for 39 receptions, 630 yards and 5.95 touchdowns over the remainder of the season, making him our 18th-ranked wideout moving forward.
