Cowboys not ruling Dez Bryant (knee) out despite missed practice Friday
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (knee) did not practice Friday.
Head coach Jason Garrett has refused to rule Bryant out for Sunday's contest against the San Francisco 49ers. Owner/general manager Jerry Jones claims Bryant's issue is a "pain thing," implying the receiver could play through it. We don't expect Bryant to be active for Week 4, but it sounds like there's a slim chance after he received "great feedback" from Dr. James Andrews on Thursday in regards to the knee injury.
Bryant has had a slow start to the season, and ranks second on the Cowboys -- behind Beasley -- in both Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) and Reception NEP per target.
