Jets' Matt Forte (hamstring) returned to team drills Wednesday
New York Jets running back Matt Forte (hamstring) returned to team drills at camp on Wednesday.
It's progress after Forte opened the week participating only in individual work. Beat writer Ralph Vacchiano noted that Forte took hits with the first team on Wednesday, "flashed some speed" after catching a pass over the middle from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, and "look(ed) fine" in practice.
Our algorithms currently project Forte as the 19th-best running back. We have him pegged for 211 carries for 834 rushing yards and 3.84 touchdowns, to go with 46 receptions for 336 yards receiving and 1.58 touchdowns. Forte's ADP has only now begun to drop toward his real value, as he's going in the early fourth round of fantasy drafts as the 18th running back off the board.
