Panthers' DJ Chark (hamstring) ruled out for Week 1
Carolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Chark (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Chark returned to practice on Friday, but he will miss the first game of the season. Adam Thielen (ankle) is questionable, but Terrace Marshall Jr. was upgraded to a full participant after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. If Thielen is also unavailable, Bryce Young will be left with Marshall, Laviska Shenault, and rookie Jonathan Mingo as his top wideouts.
numberFire's models previously projected Chark for 5.2 targets in Week 1. Last year, the Panthers allowed the fourth-most FanDuel points per game (31.7) to opposing wide receivers.
