Round 2: Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers

ADP: 19th overall (2.07)

There's no way around it: Eddie Lacy was a disappointment last year.

Drafted as a top-five pick, Lacy ended the year ranked 25th in standard formats. With the running back position crumbling around him, Lacy played 15 games and still managed to stink.

Now, here’s the good news: Lacy is primed to bounce back in 2016. He actually posted a career-best 43.85% Success Rate, which is the percentage of carries that increased his team’s NEP. That clip ranked fifth among backs with at least 150 rushing attempts.

His -0.06 Rushing NEP per carry mark wasn’t good, but it was just slightly worse than the league average of -0.04.

The best news is that the rest of the Packers running backs fared even worse, totaling a minuscule 34.71% Success Rate.

With Jordy Nelson back in the fold, Green Bay’s entire offense should see a lift. Ostensibly, that will lead to more red zone opportunities for Lacy. The Packers either led the NFL or tied for the lead in red zone plays in both 2013 and 2014 before running the 14th-most red zone plays last season, which played a factor in Lacy scoring just 5 times after he totaled 24 touchdowns through two seasons.

Lacy comes into the year as our 13th overall player, and he’s a nice value at his current cost.
