Carson Palmer

FanDuel Price: $8,200
numberFire Projected Points: 20.64

It seems like Carson Palmer makes this list every week, but it's for good reason, because dude just keeps balling. Palmer's had an incredibly good season thus far, registering an impressive 0.34 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back. That ranks third among all quarterbacks with at least 100 passing attempts this season, falling behind only Andy Dalton and Tom Brady. He's also currently tied for second in the league in touchdown passes thrown (14) and is fourth in the league in passing yards (1,737).

Even last week when he struggled in terms of real football, he put up 421 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers en route to 18.74 FanDuel points, despite tossing 2 interceptions. And this week, Palmer gets to square off against the lowly Baltimore Ravens passing defense, currently ranked 20th against the pass according to our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing NEP metrics.

The Ravens are currently ranked ninth against the rush per our metrics, so the Cardinals should have a lot more success through the air this weekend. And they're also surrendering more fantasy points to the quarterback position than any other team this season, having already been torched by season-long waiver wire luminaries like Derek Carr, Josh McCown, and Colin Kaepernick.

With an over/under of 48.5 and a 7.5-point spread, don't let the potential game script concerns take you off of Palmer this weekend. The Cardinals haven't seemed to care about whether they're beating their opponents too senseless or not this season, with three of their four wins exceeding a 24-point margin. In those contests, Palmer has averaged three touchdown passes per game, so he should feast. Lock him in your lineups without hesitation.
