Nick Foles, QB, St. Louis Rams

Nick Foles has a lot of potential in his Week 3 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Pittsburgh, last year, ranked 26th in our per-play passing defense metrics, and this year, they are 28th through two weeks. They have given up the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far this year, too. Foles threw for nearly 300 yards in Week 1 at home against Seattle. A home matchup against this secondary could yield a big day as well.

The Rams are 1-point home underdogs but have a team total of 23 points, which ranks 13th among 28 teams with a projected total so far. Only 6 teams have a total higher than 24, so the Rams could contend with the biggest scoring output of the week.

Against one of the most beatable pass defenses in the league, Foles should put up numbers even as an underdog.
