Juwan Thompson, Denver Broncos

I'm being a little evocative with this one, but really, it's a testament to what the Denver Broncos have than anything negative toward C.J. Anderson.

Last year, Juwan Thompson owned a Success Rate of 57.41% on his 54 carries, which ranked second among the 35 backs who saw between 25 and 75 carries. Thompson's Rushing NEP (10.81) was also second.

Anderson posted a Rushing NEP of 17.93 on 179 carries (0.10 per carry). Thompson's per-carry mark (0.20) ranked second to all backs who carried it at least 50 times.

If Anderson struggles or misses a few games, Thompson should be able to step in and not miss a beat based on his efficiency from last year.

That's a good problem to have.
