Derek Carr, QB, Oakland Raiders

Derek Carr hasn't kept pace with Bortles in either a fantasy football or real football contest, but he's been pretty competent. Among passers with at least 50 drop backs, his 0.14 Passing NEP per drop back ranks a reasonable 15th.

He sits as only the QB18 in fantasy scoring, but he's fresh off a Week 4 performance in which he shredded the Cleveland Browns for 31.6 fantasy points. He's been dealing with tough matchups so far, taking on two top-10 pass defenses, and he gets some relief this week against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers rank bottom-10 in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play and allow top-10 fantasy production to the quarterback position. They have allowed no fewer than 245 yards to an opposing passer (averaging 288.3 per game), and twice they have allowed at least 25 fantasy points.

Carr has topped 300 yards in three of his four games this season (with 288 in the fourth), and while he isn't as strong a play and doesn't draw as strong a matchup as Bortles, he's another solid streaming option at the position.
