This Isn't the Linc

Oftentimes, the importance of home-field advantage in the NFL can be overlooked -- this year's Super Bowl matchup is actually the fourth time in five years that the top seed in each conference has advanced to the final round.

For the Eagles specifically, playing in Lincoln Financial FIeld has been huge for their defense. This postseason, they've already held the Vikings to just 7 points and the Falcons to 10.

But the Eagles' defensive dominance at home is a trend that spans over the past two seasons. In those games, Philadelphia has allowed just 13.9 points per game, while they've given up 24.7 points per game on the road. This difference is just as stark this season alone, as they're allowing 12.4 points per game in Philly and 23.5 on the road.

While Minnesota is a neutral venue, the Eagles defense won't have the home crowd at their backs as they try to slow down Brady and company.
