Start Andy Dalton as a Heavy Favorite

The Bengals are 6.5-point favorites at home versus the Chicago Bears. In a week with several value options at quarterback, Andy Dalton stands out because of his past performances as a heavy favorite. The below table, courtesy of the Rotoviz Game Splits App, shows how his fantasy production changes when he's favored by at least six points.


Running back Joe Mixon suffered a concussion on Monday night and is very questionable for Sunday's tilt. If he sits out, Dalton will be forced to throw more than usual.

The Bengals have rebounded well coming off losses this season. While they are just 3-3 in those situations, they are 4-2 against the spread following a loss. If they cover versus Chicago, Dalton can be expected to help quite a bit.
