It's been strange to write about the New Orleans Saints defense this year since we're used to them being one of the league's worst units in recent years. But this year, the Saints defense has played really well and now they face rookie Mitchell Trubisky. He's 2-1 through three starts, but has primarily been asked to hand the ball off to Jordan Howard.

In his past two games, Trubisky has attempted just 23 pass attempts combined, including last week's win against Carolina where he only threw seven passes -- yes, just seven pass attempts.

Despite dropping back so little, Trubisky has been sacked often. He's taken four sacks in each of his last two games and could be hitting the turf often again in Week 8 -- the Saints rank 12th in the league in sacks (17).

While Trubisky hasn't been asked to throw much through three games, that could change on Sunday. The Bears are a nine-point underdog in New Orleans, where the Saints usually put up big numbers. This week, Vegas has given the Saints an implied team total of 28.25 points, the second-largest total on the week.

If game script goes as expected and Trubisky is forced to throw often, that could lead to a big fantasy day for the Saints defense.
