Robert Woods, WR, Buffalo Bills

With Sammy Watkins being placed on injured reserve this past weekend and potentially headed for season-ending surgery, a major void exists in the Buffalo Bills' offense. After Sunday's win against the Patriots, it appears Robert Woods might be the replacement.

Woods led the team in targets (10), receptions (7) and yards (89) in a conservative game, with the next closest receiver posting just 5 targets (someone named Walt Powell?).

Woods has never been an explosive player, and his 2015 Reception NEP per target of just 0.58 was well below the league average of 0.67. But Woods offers value in PPR formats and now becomes the de facto top receiver for this offense.

When Watkins was absent last year, the Bills varied their targets between Woods, tight end Charles Clay, and the now departed Chris Hogan and Percy Harvin. With the latter two no longer with the team, Woods should see his consistency improve from last season, even if the Bills' offense remains conservative and shaky at times.
