Round 3: Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears

ADP: 26th overall (3.02)

Alshon Jeffery has gotten a reputation as an injury-prone player, but it's really not the case. Prior to last year, Jeffery had played in all 16 games in both 2013 and 2014.

That darn recency bias.

Jeffery put together a frustrating nine-game season a year ago and finished as WR41. What we're not remembering is how good he was when he did play.

In those nine games, Jeffery racked up 54 grabs for 807 yards and 4 scores. His 89.7 yards per game set a new career high.

While his traditional stats were good, his advanced metrics were even better. Among wideouts with at least 80 targets last season, Jeffery ranked 13th in Reception NEP per target.

He was clearly the Chicago Bears' top option, too. Focusing on just the games he played, Jeffery held a monster 31.4% target market share, and he was targeted 10.44 times per outing.

With Kevin White in the mix and Matt Forte out of town, the passing game will look a little different for Jay Cutler and company. With that said, it's hard to imagine a scenario where Jeffery isn't the alpha male, even if he doesn't see a 31.4% market share.

Our projections love Jeffery this season, ranking him as the ninth-best wideout. Getting him in the third round is larceny.
