Yesterday's Perfect NBA DFS Lineups: Tuesday 4/21/15
All season long we've been marveling at how impressive James Harden has been without his running mate Dwight Howard. Harden carried Houston to the second seed in the Western Conference despite the Rockets' All-Star big man playing just 41 games, but on the rare occasions that the Beard had an off night, the Rockets were seldom able to come away with the victory. Well, in Game 2 of Houston's series with Dallas, Harden was not at his best, but his team was able to pull out the win thanks in large part to a now healthy Superman. Howard dominated the glass and added a few monster dunks en route to 28 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks as Houston took a commanding 2-0 lead against their in-state rivals.
Howard wasn't the only superstar to have a huge bounce-back outing last night following a disappointing Game 1 performance. John Wall looked outstanding against the Raptors in Game 2 after posting up just 10 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds in an overtime game to open the series with the Raptors. Wall looked every bit like the superstar we expected him to become last night, pouring in 26 points to go along with 17 dimes in the second leg of an impressive road sweep in Toronto.
These two All-Stars weren't the only players to step up in a big way for their teams last night. Otto Porter and Josh Smith both played important roles off the bench last night. Porter scored 15 points with 9 rebounds, an assist and a steal while Smith posted 15 points with 9 assists, 8 rebounds, a steal and a block -- both in wins for their respective squads.
