Steph Curry: Youth Is Served

Steph Curry's final line consisted of 37 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. For all NBA Finals series since 1985, that is a stat line only repeated in 20 other games. But of the 21 games with that stat line, it's been accomplished by 8 different players, 3 of whom did it multiple times.

Curry is also the first guard to put up that stat line in the Finals since Russell Westbrook did it in 2012, which was against LeBron James and the Heat at that time. It also marks the fourth time a guard has put up this stat line and just the second time a point guard has put up 37, 7 and 4 in the Finals since 1985 (the other two were Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan).

The one advantage Curry had on his side over Jordan and Bryant: age. Curry is the second youngest player to accomplish this stat line in the Finals at 27 years of age. Both Bryant and Jordan were in their 30's when they hit this baseline. The only player younger than Curry with this many points, rebounds and assists was Westbrook.
