Dennis Schroder, PG, Atlanta Hawks

DraftKings Salary: $5,900

With a slate-low implied team total, it is easy to write off the Atlanta Hawks altogether in a tough matchup against the Utah Jazz. That is probably the right approach for cash games. However, if you're looking for a value play with huge tournament upside, Dennis Schroder is your man.

Schroder's price has dropped by $1,100 over his past 10 games, despite the fact he's averaging 32.8 DraftKings points over his past 3 games and 30.7 over his past 10. At this price, he needs just 29.5 DraftKings points to hit value (5 points per every $1,000 in salary). Our projections agree that he is way too cheap, listing him as the best point-per-dollar value option among all players.

In addition to his inexplicable price drop, Schroder should continue to benefit from the absence of Kent Bazemore. With Bazemore off the court this season, Schroder's usage rate jumps to 36.0%. Since January 1st, Schroder has a 38.0% usage rate when Bazemore has been off the court. That type of usage is almost impossible to find at such a cheap price tag.

The matchup is horrendous, and this game could definitely turn into a blowout, so Schroder is absolutely not in play in anything but tournaments. He is an awesome GPP option, though, if you are fine with taking on some risk.
