James Harden has picked the right time of year to heat up.

In the month of March, Harden has upped his scoring overall, averaging 32.1 points while still dishing out over 11 dimes. In the past nine games, the MVP candidate has tallied 50 or more FanDuel points five times. If that wasn't hot enough, Harden also owns four consecutive triple-doubles with three performances of 60 or more fantasy points in just the last eight days.

His matchup on Monday against the Denver Nuggets will do nothing to cool off his hot streak, either.

The Rockets and Nuggets carry the highest over/under of the seven-game slate, and both teams rank in the bottom seven in points allowed, giving up over 108.0 points per game. Denver is also the second-worst team in terms of defensive efficiency, meaning the Rockets should have no trouble racking up the points. In the 12 games in 2017 that Houston has scored over 120 points -- the Rockets implied point total on Monday is 122.75 -- Harden has averaged 56.4 fantasy points.

The two teams are also playing the second half of a home-and-home, with the Rockets defeating the Nuggets in Denver on Saturday. In that game, Harden recorded a 40-point triple-double and scored 63.0 FanDuel points.

With the level the Beard is cooking at, plus the primo matchup, it will be hard to pass him up despite the lofty price tag.
