Dennis Schroder, PG, Atlanta Hawks

FanDuel Price: $6,500

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Three of the biggest name point guards are in action on Monday -- Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, and Isaiah Thomas are all likely to attract plenty of attention for those who want to pay the premium cost. Those looking for salary relief may roll with Dallas Mavericks' rookie Yogi Ferrell versus the Miami Heat or the Houston Rockets' Patrick Beverley in a high-scoring affair.

If Kyle Lowry sits out, expect Cory Joseph to also be heavily targeted as well.

Dennis Schroder with a mid-range price tag of $6,500 is likely to not be given a second thought, especially given all the trouble he has gotten into with the Atlanta Hawks recently.

Why You Should Use Him:

Schroder has sneakily been one of the most consistent DFS options at point guard -- especially in tournaments -- all year long. In his last 5 games, he is averaging 33.5 FanDuel points, providing over 5X value at the $6,500 price tag he carries on Monday night.

During this time, Schroder has seen his responsibility increase, playing over 34 minutes per game with a 28.5% usage rate, both upticks over his season-long stats while averaging 18.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists.

While Isaiah Thomas has been lighting it up offensively, he covers opposing point guards as well as a wet paper bag. He owns the worst defensive real plus/minus out of all 87 qualified point guards with a -4.40 mark. When IT2 is on the floor, opponents are scoring 1.138 points per possession -- equal to an 113.8 offensive rating, according to NBAWowy.com.

That leads to the Boston Celtics allowing the 3rd-most fantasy points to opposing point guards of teams playing on Monday, and 12th-most overall.
