Royals' Hunter Dozier scratched Wednesday with sore back, Ryan O'Hearn enters lineup

Kansas City Royals infielder Hunter Dozier has been scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Chicago White Sox because of a sore back.

What It Means:

Ryan O'Hearn will replace Dozier at first base and bat ninth versus White Sox left-hander Carlos Rodon. Jorge Bonifacio will move into the cleanup spot. Alcides Escobar will hit seventh, Rosell Herrera will hit eighth, and Brian Goodwin will hit ninth.
