Royals' Hunter Dozier scratched Wednesday with sore back, Ryan O'Hearn enters lineup
Kansas City Royals infielder Hunter Dozier has been scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Chicago White Sox because of a sore back.
Ryan O'Hearn will replace Dozier at first base and bat ninth versus White Sox left-hander Carlos Rodon. Jorge Bonifacio will move into the cleanup spot. Alcides Escobar will hit seventh, Rosell Herrera will hit eighth, and Brian Goodwin will hit ninth.
Dozier is averaging 7.3 FanDuel points in 88 games this season, while slashing .233/.283/.395 with 9 home runs and 29 RBI across 332 plate appearances.
