Padres-Phillies postponed Saturday due to rain, doubleheader scheduled for Sunday
Saturday's matchup between the San Diego Padres and Philadelphia Phillies has been postponed due to rain.
The game will be made up on Sunday at 6:05pm ET as part of a doubleheader, while the original game's start time has been pushed back from 1:35pm ET to 12:05pm ET. Vince Velasquez was scheduled to start for the Phillies and Luis Perdomo was lined up for the Padres, but they will likely throw in one of Sunday's contests.
The Phillies are 14th and the Padres are 24th in numberFire's MLB Team Power Rankings.
