Blue Jays' Steve Pearce out of the lineup on Saturday
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman/outfielder Steve Pearce is absent from the starting lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Los Angeles Angels.
What It Means:
Pearce went 3-for-4 in last night's loss, but he'll let Teoscar Hernandez take over in left field for this evening's tilt out in L.A.
Pearce is batting .300 with 3 homers in 23 games this season.
