Josh Donaldson (calf) won't be activated for Blue Jays on Friday
Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson (calf) will not be activated from the disabled list Friday.
Donaldson has been out since May 29 due to a left calf injury and Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said Friday afternoon that the veteran third baseman is still "working through his baserunning so he can be competitive when he returns." Yangervis Solarte and Gio Urshela have been splitting time at the hot corner for Toronto since Donaldson went down.
Donaldson averaged 10.2 FanDuel points before the injury while slashing .234/.333/.423 with 5 home runs and 16 RBI across 159 plate appearances.
