Nationals' Brandon Kintzler exits Saturday's game with apparent injury
According to MASN's Dan Kolko, Washington Nationals relief pitcher Brandon Kintzler exited Saturday's game with an apparent injury.
Kintzler came on in the eighth inning of Saturday's matchup against the San Francisco Giants. He worked through two batters, but never seemed quite right. He walked off with trainers and was replaced with Sean Doolittle, who ended up with the four-out save.
Kintzler ended his day after getting 1 out and allowing 1 hit in a third of an inning. His ERA sits at 4.50 through 33 appearances and 28 innings.
