Reds' Scooter Gennett gets day off Thursday against Rockies
Cincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Colorado Rockies.
Gennett has been starting nearly every game as he remains one of the hottest hitters in baseball. However, he'll leave and let Brandon Dixon to start at second and hit seventh.
Hitting .344, Gennett is projected for 19 home runs, 59 RBI and a .293 average over the rest of the season.
