Twins' Miguel Sano (hamstring) took grounders prior to Thursday's game
According to the Pioneer Press' Mike Berardino, Minnesota Twins third/first baseman Miguel Sano was seen taking grounders prior to Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Sano isn't expected to return from the disabled list this week. He's been out since April 27th with a left hamstring strain. Until he's healthy enough to get back on the field, Eduardo Escobar will continue to play more games at third base.
Off to a slow start, Sano is hitting just .213 with 5 home runs so far this season. We project him for 21 homers and a .247 the rest of the way this season.
