Jonathan Schoop absent from Orioles' lineup against Red Sox
Baltimore Orioles second/third baseman Jonathan Schoop is out of the lineup Saturday against the Boston Red Sox.
Schoop started at second base yesterday, but Tim Beckham will step into that spot for today's game. Ultimately, Pedro Alvarez will take Schoop's place in the order as he hits in the two-hole against starter Hector Velazquez.
Hitting .230 to start the year, Schoop is projected to bat .285 with 28 homers and 84 RBI over the remainder of the season.
