Los Angeles' Hyun-Jin Ryu begins throwing program
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (shoulder) has begun a throwing program.
Ryu had surgery back in May to repair a labrum injury in his left shoulder. The southpaw is expected to be ready to go for spring training, barring any setbacks.
Ryu will be a forgotten man in a lot of fantasy drafts next spring, but he has proven to be a solid pitcher. He posted a 3.24 FIP in 2013, his first year in the bigs, and he followed it up with a stellar 2.62 FIP in 2014.
