Brandon Phillips out of Reds' lineup again Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips is out of the lineup again Tuesday as the Reds face the Chicago Cubs.
Phillips also missed the team's game on Monday, though nothing has been announced about a potential injury. Ivan De Jesus will again bat second and play second base.
Phillips hadn't seen a dip in the play prior to this time off. He has actually been hitting better in the second half of the season with a .310/.340/.420 slash. His batted-ball data, however, paints a different picture with a hard-hit rate at 24.8. Phillips will be entering his age-35 season next year, so he may be a tough sell in season-long fantasy.
