Boston Red Sox' infielder Eduardo Nunez was carried off the field in the first inning of Game 1 of the ALDS.
What It Means:
Nunez went down while trying to beat out a grounder in his first at-bat. The versatile infielder had been battling a knee injury over the last few weeks.
Hanley Ramirez is slated to replace Nunez as Boston's DH for the rest of Game 1.
