Twins' Byron Buxton exits Wildcard game with tight upper back
Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton left Tuesday night's American League Wild Card Game against the New York Yankees due to upper back tightness.
Buxton took a hard hit at the outfield wall while making a spectacular catch early in the game. He was removed shortly after that and he will undergo further tests on Wednesday. Hopefully it's nothing serious and he can enjoy a full offseason.
Buxton finished the year slashing .253/.314/.413 with 16 home runs, 51 RBI, 69 runs scored, and 29 steals over 511 plate appearances.
