Yadier Molina (concussion) still out Thursday for Cardinals

St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (concussion) remains out of Thursday's lineup against the Chicago Cubs.

What It Means:

Molina said Tuesday he was targeting Thursday's series finale for a return, but the veteran backstop was unable to make that a reality. He may be done for the year after taking consecutive foul tips to the head in Monday's opener with the Cubs. Carson Kelly will catch right-hander Lance Lynn and bat eighth versus Chicago right-hander Kyle Hendricks.

Over 136 games, the 35-year-old has accounted for 18 home runs, 82 RBI, and 60 runs scored across 543 plate appearances in 2017 while averaging 9.5 FanDuel points per game.
