Astros' Jose Altuve (wrist) is out of the lineup on Tuesday
Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (wrist) will not start in Tuesday's game against the Texas Rangers.
Altuve was removed from Monday's game after getting hit by a pitch in the wrist. X-rays came back negative, and he remains day-to-day. Marwin Gonzalez moves over to second base, and Tony Kemp is starting in left field.
For the remainder of the season, our models project Altuve to hit .313 with 1 home run, 3 runs, 2 RBIs, and 1 stolen base over his final 17 plate appearances.
