Justin Turner (thumb) is sitting out Friday for Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (thumb) is not in the lineup on Friday against the San Francisco Giants.
Turner is considered day-to-day after getting hit on the thumb by a pitch and exiting Thursday's game. X-rays were negative, so look for him to return to the lineup after the pain subsides. Logan Forsythe is taking over third base and hitting eighth on Friday.
Our models project Turner for a .300 batting average, with 1 home run, 5 RBI, and 5 runs scored over 35 plate appearances remaining this season.
