Kevin Plawecki out of the Mets' starting lineup against Miami
New York Mets catcher Kevin Plawecki is out of the starting lineup for Monday's road game against the Miami Marlins.
Plawecki got the start behind the dish on Sunday, but he returns to the bench while Travis d'Arnaud resumes catching duties tonight.
Plawecki is slashing only .234/.318/.377 with a .299 wOBA through 27 games in 2017. numberFire's models project him to bat .286 while adding 1 RBI in 8 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
