Felix Hernandez activated, starting Thursday for Mariners
Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Felix Hernandez has been activated from the 10-day disabled list.
Hernandez will toe the rubber against the Texas Rangers on Friday in his first start since July 31 after being sidelined with a recurrence of bursitis in his right shoulder. He's going to be limited to around 50 pitches, so the veteran right-hander isn't the most attractive fantasy option. Prior to going down, Hernandez posted a 4.28 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 21.7 strikeout percentage across 73 2/3 innings while going 5-4 in 13 starts.
numberFire's models project Hernandez to score 24.3 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,100 in tonight's return. In addition to the pitch count, his upside may be limited by a high over/under (10.0) and strong park factor (1.121).
