Nationals' Bryce Harper (knee, calf) able to run
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper (knee, calf) has begun doing "some light running," according to Nationals manager Dusty Baker.
What It Means:
Harper continues to make progress in his rehab and he's expected to be ready for the start of the postseason. He was placed on the disabled list August 13 with a bone bruise in his left knee and a calf strain in his left leg.
Prior to going down, Harper posted a .326/419/.614 slash with a .425 wOBA, 29 home runs, 87 RBI, and 92 runs scored in 472 plate appearances this season.
