Twins' Miguel Sano (shin) took BP on Tuesday
Minnesota Twins third/first baseman Miguel Sano took early batting practice before Tuesday's game, according to MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger.
Sano has yet to run since being diagnosed with a stress reaction in his left shin. However, he's set to do some running tomorrow and continue to creep closer to a return. Hopefully, we'll get a timetable for his return in the coming days.
While the Twins have gone 12-10 since Sano landed on the DL on August 20th, we project the slugger to return and hit 3 home runs with a .245 average across 57 plate appearances the rest of the year.
