Twins' Byron Buxton's (hand) MRI reveals no fracture
Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hand) underwent an MRI on Thursday, which revealed no fractures.
There was concern that Buxton may have fractured his left hamate bone on Wednesday, but it has been diagnosed as only a contusion, and he is available off the bench for the Twins on Thursday.
Through 113 games this season, Buxton is slashing .249/.310/.401 with 13 home runs, 38 RBI, 52 runs scored, and 24 steals across 402 plate appearances.
