Twins' Kyle Gibson logs quality start in no-decision
Minnesota Twins pitcher Kyle Gibson turned in a quality start in Thursday afternoon's no-decision against the Chicago White Sox, yielding three runs on five hits over six innings.
Gibson struck out four without walking a batter in the contest. Solitary runs scored in the first, fourth and sixth innings. Gibson's struggled with putting runners on base in previous starts, but he's mostly been able to limit the amount touching the plate.
Over 164 innings, Gibson owns a 4.21 FIP, 1.30 WHIP, 115 strikeouts and 55 walks. He'll face a tough road showdown with the division-leading Kansas City Royals next time he toes the rubber.
