Brandon Moss clubs three-run walk-off homer for St. Louis
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Brandon Moss hit a three-run, walk-off home run as the Cardinals came back to beat the Washington Nationals 8-5 on Tuesday.
Moss finished 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, but it was the homer off Casey Janssen with two outs in the ninth inning that was the difference. It was the third homer in the last six games for Moss, who the Cardinals dealt for at the trade deadline.
Moss owns a .309 wOBA. He's still hitting just .220/.301/.413 with 18 homers and 57 RBI overall, but Moss is capable of continuing his recent power surge through the final few weeks of the season. We have him with a .710 OPS and four long balls over the season's final month.
