Kyle Schwarber not in tonight's Cubs' lineup
Chicago Cubs leftfielder/catcher Kyle Schwarber is not in Sunday's lineup.
What It Means:
With lefty Alex Wood on the bump for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Miguel Montero is behind the plate with Matt Szczur in left with the left-handed hitting Schwarber on the pine.
In the 45 games and 179 plate appearances since being called up, the rookie has a sparkling .387 wOBA with 12 home runs. He does have some crazy platoon splits. His wOBA against righties is an absurd .445 while it's just .250 versus lefties.
