Nationals' Joe Ross holds Padres to one hit over six innings
Washington Nationals pitcher Joe Ross limited the San Diego Padres to one hit over six innings in the Nationals' win on Thursday.
Ross allowed one run, but it was an unearned run. He issued two walks and struck out seven.
It's been an impressive rookie season thus far for Ross. In 66 2/3 innings, he owns a 3.12 FIP, which ranks 51st out of the 241 pitchers to log at least 50 innings. We have Ross projected for a 4.36 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over the rest of the campaign.
