Mike Trout leaves Angels' game with apparent hand injury
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout departed Sunday's game versus the Miami Marlins in the sixth inning with a left-hand injury.
Trout jammed his hand on second base during a steal attempt in the fifth inning. He remained in the game initially but was replaced in the field one inning later by Ben Revere. No word on the severity of the injury.
Trout was 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout before leaving. He is now slashing .337/.461/.762 with 16 home runs and 10 stolen bases this season.
